Materials and Options

These signs need to be clear and durable. We can make them from a few different materials depending on where they’re going. For indoor use, a 3mm PVC foam board is often a good choice. It’s light and easy to mount. For outdoor signs, or where they might get knocked, we’d suggest something tougher like 3mm or 5mm aluminium composite material. This stands up well to the weather.

We can also supply signs that glow in the dark, known as photoluminescent signs. These are essential for fire exits and escape routes, especially in case of a power cut.
